I am at my cousins house today and very thankful to be surrounded by family, and also food. We had lots of food. Here is a picture of my second plate of food. There are colored butter beans, sweet baby carrots, green beans with new potatoes cooked in with them, dressing, dirty rice, rolls, honey baked ham, mashed potatoes and peas. My aged Aunt, who was 90 on Monday all ways said to "eat every bean and pea in your plate". I was never sure if she was telling me to eat all my vegetables or if her remark had a more nefarious meaning.

My BIO

A conference at which I will be presenting soon asked me for my BIO to publish in the program guide. I have written at least 5 BIOs in the last few years, but I can NEVER find one when I need it....... Thus I have written at least 5 BIOs in the last few years. SO now I am posting my newest BIO, and picture, here so I will always know where it is :) and now the long awaited BIO.

"Neffra Matthews received her Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Kentucky in 1985, later that year she began her federal career with the Defense Mapping Agency (now the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency). In 1989 Neffra began working with what is now the National Operation Center of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Denver, CO. Neffra has over 22 years experience in photogrammetry and the geospatial sciences. During the last 10 years Neffra has focused on close-range photogrammetry and has experience working with non-traditional aerial imagery acquired from remote controlled aircraft and aerial blimp systems. Neffra has made numerous presentations at professional conferences, both in the United States and abroad, on the use of close-range photogrammetry for documentation, inventory, monitoring, and change detection of natural and cultural resources. Her most recent publication is a BLM Technical Note on photogrammetry and the field collection of ground-based stereoscopic imagery."
